The Haumoana Ratepayers meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm. The meeting is public, brief and everyone is welcome, come along and join us. Our committee is a combination of long standing members and new.
Next Meeting: Due to a lack of active committee members the monthly meetings are on hold.
More members desperately needed: We appreciate new members coming on board as this brings new energy and ideas. Come along and take an active part in your community. To function well we need more members to share the work and take part in discussions. If you are interested in regularly attending meetings or helping out at a single event please don't hesitate to contact us.

The Haumoana Ratepayers are involved in several community projects throughout the year. These include The Haumoana Lemon Day and Mid-Winter Bonfire.

Beach Clean Up: From time to time our beach gets littered with empty cans, empty bottles, empty sandwhich wrappers, empty bags, and full nappies. On May 31st we are having a clean up session. We will be meeting at the groyne between 9 and 9.30 on Sunday, May 31st. The clean up will take a couple of hours and be followed by a sausage sizzle lunch. Gloves, rubbish bags and sausages will be provided. Come along and take pride in our environment.

Mid-winter bonfire and sculpture competition: Our annual mid-winter get together is scheduled for the Winter Solstice, June 20th. A bonfire at the Groyne with sculpture building throughout the afternoon, twilight judging, great prizes and a barbecue. The cancellation date for this event should it be really windy is June 27th. Lemon Day: In Spring we held our 5th annual lemon day. Last year we had 225 entries in the Bridge to Rivermouth race - what an amazing turnout.
