A statement from King Andy

I have been in the role of King for 9 years and while it was a useful and fun role for many years the joy of it has been eroded with the continual verbal bashing and vandalism to my property over the last few years by a select few narrow-minded individuals, this affects not just me but my whole family.

This has prompted me to abdicate my role as King so that I can put my time and energy making a positive contribution to Haumoana in other areas and will continue to build up a community to be proud of. It was fun while it lasted and I thought it would give the village a bit of flavour, something that was different to other areas.

Thankyou to all the supporters out there, thankyou to the people who got what it was about and didn't take me too seriously and lastly thankyou to my family who have had to live with a nutcase in the house, without their support I would have chucked it in ages ago.
